Conduct local and statewide advocacy efforts from an independent living philosophy perspective. Represent TRCIL Services, Inc. and people with disabilities in public meetings. Establish and maintain relationships with legislators. Participate in training programs. Keep staff and consumers abreast of issues relative to people with disabilities. Establish relationships with existing consumer controlled, cross-disability regional advocacy groups. Ensure that meetings are accessible and communications are available in an accessible format.
